Yumiko performing a hongi (Maori greeting)Last weekend 5 Languages International students went on an authentic Maori cultural weekend. They were welcomed into the Maori community, learnt about traditional customs and ate delicious Maori food called a Hangi. The group also went to the beach, sang and danced Maori-style and made special Maori carvings to take home.
