The reason I have chosen Homestay so far is to improve my speaking skill without any doubt.
I have met many different families in the six months I have been here, each family has specific traditions or habits. To understand very well I spent lots of time on those. I am getting used to homestay.
What I want to say is if you want to stay at homestay, consider the following advice. First of all, try to understand the homestay. Next show the host family what you want or what are you interested in. In addition, help the family with the housework even if you think “I paid to stay here, so I deserve services”. If you follow the advice, your English will get much better.
