We are sad to say goodbye to our Director of Studies, Annie Thode, who has been an invaluable staff member at Languages International for the last 27 years. Annie’s first contact with Languages International was as a Teacher Trainee, and since then she has worked here as a much-loved Teacher, Teacher Trainer, Assistant Director of Studies, and then Director of Studies. Annie will be sorely missed by students and staff alike. However, a new adventure is calling her; she and her partner are opening a Bed and Breakfast in Rotorua. In related news, we are delighted to announce that Nick Moore is our new Director of Studies. Nick has been at Languages International for 14 years during which time he has been a Teacher, Teacher Trainer and our Learning Centre manager, as well as heading our workplace literacy service The Literacy Professionals. Nick will be an outstanding Director of Studies, and we congratulate him on his new role!
