In 2006, my sister had the opportunity to go on a student exchange, and she chose New Zealand as her destination. Still a high school student, she lived there for 6 months and really identified with the culture and the family that hosted her. This influenced me to spend the summer holidays in New Zealand with the same family.
Originally, I hadn’t planned to take a course. I was just going to travel and do some sightseeing. But, I ended up with some free time, and as an Economics student in Brazil, I decided to take the English for Business course at Languages International.
Apart from the fact that Languages International is located in a pleasant environment right in the heart of Auckland, I chose this institution because it offered me a 2-week, full-time course with a certificate, a fair price, and an enviable infrastructure. Aside from offering excellent teaching, Languages International, in my opinion, stands out because it involves its students, from all over the planet, in lots of extracurricular activities to help them get to know each other. I made some great friends because of this.
In Brazil, being fluent in English is a huge plus in the job market. The Business English course has definitely leveraged my entry into the job market. I was recently employed as a Junior Auditor at a firm that provides auditing, consulting, and advisory services. So for anyone who wants to visit a country of uncommon beauty, my tourism advice is don’t miss New Zealand. Professionally speaking, if you are planning to study in NZ, Languages International is, without a doubt, the best option!
