It is always wonderful to see students making friends with students from other countries. It is such a great opportunity for them to practise their English together and to learn about each other’s cultures. These photos are from a trip that a group of friends from 6 different countries took together recently. One of the students from the group, Hideko, wrote about the experience:
“Three weeks after I arrived in New Zealand, I went to Mt. Maunganui with my classmates. That was a great and exciting trip for me. It took us about one and a half hours to climb the mountain, but I wasn’t at all tired because we had a beautiful view of the sea and beaches while we walking! That was fantastic! I’d never seen such deep blue sea!! Talking with my classmates was also an awesome experience. I’m really grateful to have met them!”
