Tahitian student, Hianui Laugeon, prepared herself for university study by taking English for University and IELTS preparation courses at Languages International. Now, Hianui is doing a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Management at SKEMA Business School in Nice, France. Although the university is in France, the courses and exams are in English, and she will complete the last two years of her four-year degree at the university’s Australian campus.
Hianui has found that the courses she took at Languages International were excellent preparation for her English-medium university study. She says:
I only have GREAT memories from this experience with you and want to thank you and my teachers for the work you do every day. The two courses (IELTS + English for University Higher) really helped me to enter my English business school with more confidence. Special thanks to Liz, Jeremy and Katie for having been amazing teachers full of passion and patience. Awesome school where I met beautiful people (staff as students) and spent memorable times.
How much score you got ?
How many weeks study do you recommend to get high band ?
Hi Adnan, on average, full-time students progress at a rate of half a band every three months. So, a student who begins with a band score of 5.0 is likely to achieve a band score of 5.5 after three month’s study. Of course, the rate of progress depends on many different factors and varies from student to student.
