Every winter mad Aucklanders go for an ice cold swim at Mission Bay. The Winter Splash event is organised by the Auckland City Council, and plenty of brave souls participate. This year the Splash takes place on 21 August between 10am and 1pm. It should be lots of fun. There will be roaming street performers
